Our Programs

Curriculum at Beary Cherry Tree is based upon the Frog Street curriculum series, which is a research-based, comprehensive program designed to support early childhood development in various learning domains.

It offers a continuum of learning experiences for children from infancy through Pre-K, with age-specific programs focusing on early brain development and intentional instruction.

It is used as a frame for each age group and modified based on each child’s social emotional and academic needs.

Frog Street begins with our infants and builds upon each level through our Pre-k children.

Infants

Frog Street Infant is a comprehensive program that optimizes key windows of opportunity to build strong foundations for little ones ages 0-18 months.

Based on the latest early brain development research, this program offers easy-to-use activities emphasizing all developmental domains (language, cognitive, physical, social and emotional, approaches toward learning) featuring Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline®.

Toddlers

Frog Street Toddler is designed around the latest early brain research and includes 52 weeks of easy-to-use activities created specifically for little ones 18-36 months old. The program is designed to foster essential growth, meet the needs of all learners, and embrace the joy of learning each day!

This series includes language development, cognitive development, physical development, social-emotional development, and approaches to learning.

Threes

Frog Street Threes provides intentional instruction in key areas of development so children ages 36-48 months can effectively continue on the path to kindergarten readiness.

Key components include easy-to-use activities developed around early brain development research, well-rounded scope of activities that address all developmental domains, intentional instruction that optimizes key windows of opportunity for growth and development, and social-emotional emphasis featuring Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline®

This series consists of key areas of development: social bridges, literacy development, and foundational math.

Pre-K

Frog Street Pre-K is a comprehensive, research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines.

The program is aligned to state and national standards.

The cornerstones of the program include integrated lessons with defined scope and sequence of instruction, social-emotional development using Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline ®, differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners, and a joyful approach to learning.
